Wow, a Canadian who is conservative? You should please please get involved in Canadian media/politics. With your humor and writing talent you could bring others on board. We need friendlier neighbors to the north. I think there is a Canadian Conservative magazine, maybe you should contact them about doing opion/humor pieces. Just a suggestion, but do think about getting involved, it could make a difference. And with a population of only 29 mil (+1 sasquach) changing just a few minds could make a difference!

Tough Crowd rules. It is similar to Politically Incorrect, but it is actually politically incorrect, the way I like things. TV execs always manage to cancel the best show. But at least I got tickets to the very last episode Nov. 4 Live in New York. Down with weenie liberals!

Wow. You've basically summed up exactly how I feel. I have been a Colin fan since the late 80's as well and I too love his mumbling, self-depricating ways. I agree with your thoughts on The Daily Show as well. I am lucky enough to have caught Tough Crowd in the very beginning and am glad I got to see its complete run. I still can't believe CC is cancelling it

Have you ever thought about writing a book? You have a very readable style. Your prose are witty without sounding pompous or like you're trying too hard, which is a very difficult thing to achieve. I bet you could just submit your blog to a publishing house. Voila....instant book. I'd buy it.

I think you missed your calling.

Great piece. In today's world of supposed reality tv, there is no place for original, funny, programs like Tough Crowd. It is a damn shame too, becasue I agree with you. Great show. It will be missed. Detroit Velvet Smooth From Moncton.
