It would be even better if they didn’t keep playing the shit out of it on the radio. I heard Vertigo 18 times this weekend. More songs get ruined that way.
Vertigo is just the tip of the iceberg. Lots of good stuff on there. But you’re right, if I see that iPod commercial and Bono’s silly looking feathered haircut again, I’m gonna go nutty.
Yup, it rocks a lot. Somehow these guys just keep raising the bar… yet Bon Jovi is winning “Lifetime Achievement” awards? On what basis? Sucking worse than anyone over the same 20 year period?
FTR, my wife is leaving me for a cardboard cutout of Larry Mullen Jr. This was not unexpected.
Tracks 5, 6 and 8 make me want to rub boiled cabbage all over my nubile young chest and run through the streets of West Dublin. Forget Vertigo. This album will be pumping out singles for a good year yet to come.
