When my family got Baylee, I was 16, and we had her for a week of Spring Break before we all went back to school/work. And she was fine. I got a parking pass from the school and drove back every day to let her out at lunch and play for the next year and a half. I think you'll be fine with being there during the day and all. We had her sleeping in bed with us starting that first night -- on towels, just in case, but still. It wasn't as hard as I thought to get her housebroken, either, although to be fair I wasn't generally cleaning up when she messed up the carpet. As long as you have a good carpet cleaner (or hardwood/tile), you'll be fine. Oh, and puppies tend to chew through flimsy baby gates, FYI. All in all, I'm sure you'll be more than fine. Good luck with PUPPIES!!!

I will. Every day I'm going to take them out every hour on the hour. I've read several books, talked to you and Amy and the breeder too. I think I am ready!
