Did ya ever see Romper Stomper? Mainstream darling of the moment, Russell Crowe, plays a psychotic skinhead hell bent on death and destruction. What about L.A. Confidential? Crowe's Bud White is the toughest cop ever portrayed on screen. I bet you're all over Maximus but you've never even seen either of these movies. This guy's career started about 10 years before Gladiator was even made so do yourself a favor and pay attention.
    I always knew Crowe would be a star. Ever see Virtuosity? A forgettable little sci-fi movie with where Crowe plays a psychotic computer virus called Sid 6.7. But you can't take your eyes off this guy. Quite an unbelieveable performance. Check it out on video.
    He has a band called "Thirty Odd Feet of Grunt." He stole Meg Ryan from Dennis Quaid and then left her sniveling in a hotel room. He randomly assaults award show producers. He's from New Zealand, not Australia. He's an interesting frickin' Kiwi.
