Operation: Garage

The first step of any garage organization project is to remove the cars from said garage, then make silly noises at your puppies until they look at the camera. Ah, the 1969 CS Coupe. I get aroused simply backing it out of the garage. The other weekend I removed everything off the back wall of the garage and consolidated it on the left car port where I usually park the Charger.
Once the Coupe was pulled out today we had a clear wall on which to build shelves and lots of room to move around. We put the shelves together in 2 separate sections before connecting them. The "Wall O' Shelves" was JV's idea, as I'm sure he'll tell you, and I asked my neighbor Don to help me plan and build it. Don measures and guns a cross-slat like... a very handy neighbor.
"I'll help you nail the shelves. Then I'll nail my own sister unless you remember to have me neutered in exactly 3 weeks." Wild saw horses couldn't drag Don away... With the second section firmly in place, I began to realize just what a huge amount of storage and organization this unit is going to allow.
When Don's jigsaw is drawn, watch the feck out! Or at least put on your safety glasses. With the shelving firmly in place it's now time to start sorting through the wreckage. But I'll get there. Dave's measurements for his new apartment were a little off.
I don't know whether to start cleaning the garage or throw May 2-4 bunk bed bash 2008!

Description: 2007 saw the undertaking of operation Bunkhouse and with a new year comes a new... operation. Since my father's illness a massive and impressive collection of tools and equipment has fallen into chaos and, quite frankly, it makes me very sad to look at. Well - no longer!
Location: A Garage in Portland, Ontario Canada.
