Leveraging low-hanging synergies outside the vertical fruit box since 1999.

The Departed Oscar.

Update: Yeah baby!

Getting nervous over here. Martin deserves it. He won’t top this. Little Miss Sunshine is super as a cute little button, but it’s not the fucking Departed. Let’s keep that in mind, you lace curtain motherfuckers. Thanks. Again, the 36 Mafia – 1, Marin Scorcese – 0.

The Departed was a remake of a Japanese movie – do you really deserve an Oscar for a remake? Maybe next year they’ll have a new category, “Best Remake”. The Aviator was a much better movie than The Departed, but congrats to Scorsese for the “lifetime achievement” award.

I have to disagree with The Aviator being better than The Departed, but that’s just my opinion. It was the best and most entertaining flick I saw this year. It was adapted from another movie, sure, but I’m willing to check out Infernal Affairs to see just how much changed between movies. Besides, Marky Mark, even sans Funky Bunch, was pretty sweet.
